Little black spots?

russrimm(8)May 5, 2013

Hello all,

We've got our very first batch of bananas sprouting here in Houston. Question: What are the black spots and are they normal? I originally purchased Williams, Ice Cream, and some indian variety from online a few years back, so i'm also wondering if anyone can tell me which variety this appears to be somehow or do I need a close-up of the leaves?
Thanks in advance!

Don't see any black spots.

But if the black "spots" are the dark things shown against your fingers, they are dried flowers.
