My musa Basjoo is blooming !

SmokyMist(7 East TN)June 22, 2012

My musa Basjoo has a huge bloom on it...we absolutely love the plant itself anyway as it grows so well for us here in East TN with just cutting it back every fall and mulching it. I have never had a bloom on it before though. Does this mean possible fruit ?

Blooms will always turn into fruit, but the fruit on Basjoo isn't edible. Either way, still pretty cool. Congratulations!
