Bamboo in San Mateo

I'm looking for some bamboo poles for my Tomatoes and I was wondering if there is anyone near San Mateo, CA, that is growing bamboo and wouldn't mind me cutting down 6 poles?

If you don't find any volunteers, you should be able to get bamboo poles at most any garden center. The smaller diameter ones are usually cheap. What size are you interested in (length and diameter)?

I was thinking between 6-8' length and what ever diameter that would be strong for tomatoes.
