Looking for clumping bamboo in Middle TN

dijoy1July 13, 2013

I thought I just posted this but it's not showing up. I'll try again.

I'm looking for a good clumping bamboo to plant in Middle TN. We like having a source of garden stakes and bamboo for various projects.

We had some nice clumping bamboo in South Louisiana and got much good use out of it.

We want to have it in the woods behind the house. I'm thinking running bamboo would be too invasive.

Thanks.

Look into some of the Fargesias and Chusqueas. They are mostly clumpers and most should do well in your area.
