bees around bird feeder

pembroke(6--Louisville KY)January 31, 2006

My son called the other night and wondered about honey bees being around bird feeder. Said he had just filled the feeder with cracked corn and other fillers. Honey bees all around feeder. Any other people on here ever heard of this?

yep. I posted photos of this happening a couple of years ago. Cheap birdseed has powder the bees think is close to pollen.
