Banana plant

grannylinAugust 5, 2010

When I cut off a dead or yellowed leaf on my banana plant, parts of it extend down the stalk. I usually cut just the leaf off. Should a cut to the bottom of the stalk? My plant is in a pot and kept inside in the winter.

I always cut it down by the stalk, I think both ways may be correct. I'd like to know how others do it too..
