I bougt a banana tree from a catalog about 3 years ago, which was supose to produce fruit, all ive been getting are pups which i have tranaplanted in large containers and are growing great. But none have given me any sign of producing fruit.I now have 7 trees in containers wich i got from aurcery which sells trees, these are large containers.A few of my trees are about 4 1/2ft tall, can i tell in any way if these trees will ever produce? Please let me knao if im doing something wrong.I live in southeast Ga.the trees are getting direct sunlight and plenty of water, and they look great.

Which variety is it? Bananas are heavy feeders so good fertilization helps. In yr zone 3 years is not too long for most varieties but for others it may be longer.
