This is my H. puniceum var. alberti bloom last month. This species bloom itself in summer without forcing.

Very pretty indeed!! I'm not too crazy about the extra long stem but the flower is lovely with those curved petals. Thanks for sharing this one.

Yes, I definitely see "Lady Jane" in the flower... it's lovely! I'm not particularly crazy about the long stem, either, but a group would make a statement.
