Pup is ready to be replanted?

solboardOctober 23, 2006

My Ice Cream banana has sprouted a pup that I believe is big enough to remove and repot.

Here is a picture of the pup: http://img76.imageshack.us/img76/1233/pupru8.jpg

I have no idea how to begin to safely remove the pup and repot it.

I would let it get bigger.

I agree, let it get larger. BTW, this isn't the best time to seperate a pup. Spring is much better when the plants are actively growing much faster.
