bee exiting with pollen ?

vmarcos68(8A)June 6, 2005

What type of scenarios might be occuring if I see a bee leaving a hive with pollen in their baskets?

I hav a new split , hawaiian queen introduced friday, I guess fairly weak at this point due to small population and

I already put a second super on them to let them start cleaning it up.

Would that have been a robber bee?

Bees don´t move polen. I have seem bees robbing wax, and propoleo, but the polen is "inamobible". So you will read that frames with pollen have to be located near of brood.

Agreed. This is just a worker who hasn't unloaded.
