How To Get Rid of Cicada Killers

jcioliJuly 25, 2012

For the past few years I have had a big problem with these huge bees called cicada killers which look like giant hornets. They nest in the ground, making big holes and leaving mounds of dirt. I have tried pesticides, sprays and even pouring ammonia into the holes to try and get rid of them. Nothing seems to drive them away. ANyone have any other suggestions. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just be glad that something is preying on those terrible cicadas.
