Bees vs Japanese Beetles

I have a lot of bumblebees in my garden and I notice them on coneflowers along with JP's! Wonder why they don't sting them..lol.

when bees are gathering nectar or pollen, they seem to be pretty focused on the task at hand and not bothered much by other insects or people for that matter
