Frozen leaves

Should I cut them off??

My basjoos are about 4' tall...The base is protected, but I didn't get the leaves cut off before it froze last night.

I want them to stay as tall as they can for next year.

Thanks for help :)

Yes, should cut them off. If the base is protected well enough, new shoot will come out next year. No point to keep the frozen leaves.
