In the soon arrival of autumn,I'll have red/yellow flower Chinese native Lycorisradiata(Clusteramaryllis),

if anyone like this wilderness species I would like trade the mature bulbs for amaryllis-hippiastrum species.

It generally in the autumnal equinox flower before and after,Wild species growing in the dark, damp, its habitat for the red soil, strong resistance to cold, and shade,
can tolerate the high temperature limit of the average daily temperature is 24 ��; , but also drought-resistant, accustomed to acidic soil, and to loose,fertile humus soil.
It has Summer dormant habits.
You can plant Lycorisradiata in your frontor back yard darkness side, it also can grow well without too much extra care.

Those yellow plants above aren't Lycoris radiata, they're possibly Lycoris aurea and Lycoris chinensis.

Lovely photos. Josh is correct. Although they are more reluctant to bloom for me than the reliably prolific Nerine species, here in California I grow several Lycoris species and hybrids from Japan and China; in addition to a form found in the southern states. We are fortunate to have several reputable suppliers of Lycoris bulbs here in the United States.

I just bought yellow Lycoris aurea from Eden Blooms.
The red ones seem to grow wild in some areas around me. I did some bulb gathering a couple years ago so we'll see.
