Plant Sciences major, and job availability in the south east

gardenapprenticeFebruary 22, 2014

I'm aiming to major in botany horticulture or plant sciences. I aim to major in at least 2 of the above majors. I'm in TENESSEE area,do Plant Scientists make good salaries and would big cities such as Atlanta paying a good amount of money? I realize I'm not going to make 80k but I realize if I pursue horticulture and plant sciences I can make at least 70k combined

...and, have you spoken with any recent graduates about their experiences?
