New to begonias...need advice

bgaviator(7)April 29, 2013

I am really liking Begonias more and more. I think they are one of the best looking flowers out there. I really want to plant some tuberous type this year. I have a 10 inch wooden bucket/pot that's on the east side of the house. It will get morning sun, but in the afternoon it will get a little shaded by the wood banisters that go along the steps leading up to the house.

My main question with these plants is that I can't seem to figure out how many you need to fill a given sized pot. It almost looks to me like one plant of this type would be all I would need, but maybe I am wrong. Can someone give me advice? Thanks.

I would put in 3, because you can always thin them out if they get to big, you should be fine with the amount of sun you get, mine dont do well in to much sun.
