For those of you who love coneflowers, Summer Winds Nursery has MANGO MEDOWBRITE for sale. I was there yesterday and they have four or five left. They also have WHITE SWAN coneflower seeds.
That's good to know. It's always fun to see/hear who is offering what. Do you or any of our members have long term success with cone flowers? I've tried them a few times in the past and they always end up melting on me in summer. Since then, I've switched mostly to rudbeckia ("black eyed Susan") which does really great here.
Thanks for the information!
I have planted them in both full and part sun. The ones that received only morning sun stayed green and healthy and the ones in full sun turned a brownish yellow and some died.
Good information--thanks for sharing it. If I try Echinacea again I'll give them a shadier spot. My rudbeckias love any exposure I give them, but I do want some echinacea too! :)
