Has anyone tried transplanting a pomegranate tree?

dfoutsDecember 24, 2006

We have a pomegranate tree that is about 15 feet tall, that we would like to relocate. It was here when we purchased the home about 10 years ago, and we feel it is at least 3-4 years older than that. We really do not want to start over from scratch, so .......

Has anyone tried relocating a tree like this? If so, what time of the year did you do it, was it successful, etc. Any tips would be appreciated.

Here's a link to a site with info on pomegranage trees. Maybe you can find some help there.
