Butterfly(?) egg ID help - ASAP please!

deinazartmanJuly 30, 2010

I saw these orange eggs on the underside of some leaves, and am not sure what they are. Butterfly? Moth? Something else? I didn't take them home because I didn't know what they were. Should I be kicking myself? Should I try to get them back?

Leave them, I think they are milkweed beetle eggs. Not a moth, not a butterfly -- sorry.
