Note that flower on the lower picture to the right is a flowering pad there is no fruit! * This plant may be what Boissevain named "Opuntia rhodantha var. spinosior". In South central Utah there are many forms of the Opuntia polyacantha complex, that are making intermediate plants, my #225A could be such an plant.

Hello. I have SEVERAL (30+) Purple Prickley Pear Plants. From 2'' Starters to 2'+ full size ones. They are VERY winter hardy. (I live in Wisconsin). I am looking for any type I can put in a hanging basket. Or that grows/spreads in a unique way.
