I am looking for wild opuntias from every State that has them.Does anyone have some growing on their property that could part with a pad or two?
I will pay postage or look for something to trade with.
Hi I am in minnesota and I have a yellow flowering opuntias...and in the spring I could send you all you want..I am looking for a large (thick branch)(like 12 inches long and fat) of a jade.
if you have read the thread on 75 year old jade.
would you have access to a piece from one growing in the wild or on your land. either way I can send you all you want in the spring..let me know here, my e-mail doesn't work the best....linda
I have some from Michigan Zone 5. I would be willing to trade them for some other cactus cutting(s) or the like. Here's what the cuttings look like: http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j76/moosesinvade/Picture.jpg I think they're something like Beavertail Cactus, but I'm not 100% sure. They are Opuntia though, I believe.
Linda I think I can get that Jade for you.
Cameron, I do have some cactus cuttings to trade with you.
Email me and I'll let you know what I have.
I live in central Texas and have them in my front field. I am not sure of the variety. I think it is either OPhaecantha var major Engelm or O lindheimeri. I can get some other varietiies. :Like cows tougue( O lindheimeria var linguiformis) and a neddleless waxy one, and a large pad fluttery thing. The lastwo I don't think are native.
I have some wild opuntia natives I could trade, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas types. I live in Oklahoma and was given some by friends in neighboring states. I would be interested in what cactus cuttings you have.
e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
