When to plant my Zinnias

BrieninsacFebruary 21, 2012

I have a couple dozen Zinnia seedlings I'm ready to plant. They're about 3" tall and in paper pots. When do you think I should plant them? The lows at night are running in the low 40's. Is that too cold for them to go into the ground?

Brien,

You can probably plant them any time. I don't think 40's will hurt them. It may take the seeds awhile to germinate. I have plants come up from last season's seeds every year. They just wait until the weather is warm.
