Mystery Plant - Need ID

jerzeegirl(9)May 4, 2013

It appeared on my lawn one day. Probably fell out of the oak tree. We stuck it in the crotch of the tree and the stalk keeps getting longer and longer but no flowers! . Can someone please id this plant for me?

Thanks, all, for the ID. The stalk is growing very quickly; it's over four feet long at this point and reaching towards the sky. Very impressive so far.

I looked T.U. up and found out that it's an endangered plant here in FL. It's a shame that it dies after flowering.
