'Maguires Envy'

pagrdnrNovember 29, 2009

Here are some pics of 'Maguire's Envy.' It is my first amaryllis from the Maguires co-op to bloom.

The little freckles are so adorable on it! Don't you find that the Maguires amies are all way prettier then the pics on their site? Mine have been, just wonderful, every one of them!

Wow.....wonderful.... Just love those Maguire hybrids. I second Lizalily. I think they sure look even better in person than in the photos at Maguire's website. Not that i have seen one myself, but many pictures posted here in this forum speak for themselves! They are just amazing.

It's beautiful! Very delicate and soft... a lovely flower! So far, I've liked every MaGuire's bloom that has been posted! There's not a bad one in the bunch!

Thanks for sharing!

Oh, that's one to envy for sure! I agree - the Maguires blooms have really been rewarding. My Chanburg is just opening (again) now. Pictures soon! Alana

How delicate the faint blushing is. Really nice to see ANY from Maguires. Any plans for "mating" it?

That is beautiful! I thought this was a variation of Chad, as in I have Maguires envy and want some of them all!! Hopefully the next group order I won't be dealing with the house burning up and can participate.
