Pineapple plants

Just wanted to share. These cutoff tops have been in this pot for six years and I finally got blooms. The fruit is about 5 inches right now but it is growing fast. Nothing was done to stimulate blooms.

They look awesome but 6 yrs?.wow thats a long wait for pineapples.Here in Florida growing from top i ussually get a pineapple within 1 year
