ID request

paul_(z5 MI)June 16, 2013

Received this bromeliad in trade some years ago. I'm guessing it is some sort of Tillandsia but was hoping someone here might be able to give me an ID.

It has never flowered in my care nor pupped. Currently it is approx. 4" tall and 4" in diameter. Not sure how well it comes across in the photo, but it does have a white/'silvery' cast to it.

Looks like a very healthy Vriesea (Tillandsia) espinosae.
