Female Monarch

carol23_gwApril 27, 2012

Today there was a monarch checking out my milkweed plants.

I have A. syriaca, speciosa, variegata and incarnata. It will be interesting to see which species she has chosen.

I'm in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

I don't know how many plants you have of each one, but unless you have acres of them, she'll probably lay eggs on all of them! :)

Keep us posted!
