Looking to expand our succulent garden, where can you recommend finding succulents near Orlando fl
I don't know of any places that specifically deal in succulents but the Leu Gardens plant show will be very soon (march 14th and 15th) and is a great way to find succulents, Appenberry's used to have a decent selection, Blodgetts sometimes does and Palmers garden and goods sometimes has some unique things. You may want to post this again in the florida gardening forum.
I don't know about your area but Home Depot and Lowes here in Shreveport carry lots of cactus and succulents from Altman Plants in Vista CA. They always have something new here to make you spend your money. Would love to raid their place especially before they glue those flowers to the cactus.
There was a thread last year about a nursery in Apopka. That might be what you want.

Thanx leahrennee1, will definitely be attending
Bob61, Altman has some great stuff, just wished HD or Lowe's had a larger selection
Crenda, best place around that we have found, awesome staff a beautiful nursery. We love expanding our garden as we learn more and more. We are now looking for more rare and unusual. Thanks for all the input!!!
I have a few different types. You can see a few of the plants I have @ www.facebook.com/debbies/benches

I'm guessing you made it over to Florida Cactus, Inc already.
Over the last year, that's the best place I could find that was relatively close to Orlando.
There's a few vendors out in Mt Dora at Renninger Flea Market that i occasionally check out and occasionally Deco Gallery on 441 in Apopka has some, although its primarily a (very big) bonsai shop .
The Lowes at 441 and 429, IMO, has the best selection of the west orlando area's Lowes and Home Depot's, but that's relative to what your looking for.
As for a more rare/unusual species supplier , I haven't found one in Orlando yet.
On this very page is a post that is of interest to you.
