Bushy Choya.

Romani(Zone 7 TX)February 19, 2013

Well after years of seeing very mature Choya bushes at peoples places and out by fences,I decided to try me one.
There is an empty field with a couple of Mesquite trees with a few Choya growing under them.
I opted for the smallest plant to dig out to try.
These plants have been under this tree for at least 19 years I know of!
Some of the branches were already removed by a chainsaw since I was last there...
It looks like they are clearing the trees out. Has any one grown them before?

Around my neck of the woods, Teddy Bear Cholla is an invasive weed, and the bane of my existence. Good luck!
