Neoregelia thriving on neglect

janartmuseJuly 30, 2014

I have a plant I put at the side of the house a couple years ago and forgot about! It's under some trees (Berkeley, CA), and every time I go over there I am stunned at how beautiful it is! I thought it would be fun to post a couple photos, especially since it is blooming. The flowers remind me of baby birds begging for food!
