Arden's V. Bonfire in bloom

gonzer_gwJuly 31, 2008

The parentage is a mouthful: V. Sundance x ((Saundersii x procera) x Philipocoburgii) but is nice.

Gonzer,

Ardens picture on the FCBS site looks a bit redder, are you growing yours in less light?

Saundersii and Philipocoburgii seem to be in a lot of Vriesea crosses with some spectectular results.

There isn't one as far as I know Rick. My plant and John's are all purple thru and thru.

Aptly-named brom, Gonz. I like the contrast between the leaves and branched spike. Looks like your birthday present is rewarding you with several pups as well. Congrats :)

Cheers,

HDD_Gonzer,

Sorry I should learn to read, I thought Gonzers plant was a Sundance.
