Some oxalis are pests...

... but I sure like this one! Oxalis inaequalis, growing with Conophytums.

Here's a close-up of the plant. The leaves are so cute and tiny!

Thanks, Rosemarie! Yeah, the way the leaves shingle together is nice. It started out rather loose looking until I gave it more sun; now I leave it outside the greenhouse since it hasn't been a rainy winter here.

What a great little pot! Yes, that's not the Oxalis that's consistently invading every pot on my property. That flower is worth the maintenance.

Hehe, the leaves almost look "succulent" too, I had to look twice. Love the flower, that's not an Oxalis I've seen before!

The leaves actually are succulent, kind of like a pile of lentils! They all disappear when the pot goes dormant though.

Fantastic! O. stricta casts a pall on this genus, which has so many awesome plants like this one. Is it a bulb?

Well I'll be darned, the leaves are succulent after all! I think it fits even more perfectly in your pot with those fleshy leaves. :)

Yes, it's a bulb. A very very tiny one! Comes up rather late in the season too, and I was afraid it didn't make it through last summer.
