Crassula ID please

borrego(Z 10 L.A. Cal.)January 1, 2006

My juvenile web sleuthing abilities lead me to believe this is a Crassula "Blue Haze". Bluish sword shaped leaves. I did have this flower for me last ear, but foolishly nelected to take photos. Any help with it would be greatly apprciated.

I've never heard of 'Blue Haze' though I see it on Bob Smoley's website. You might try e-mailing a pic to Bob to see if he thinks it's the same one he's selling. The leaves look a little Cotyledon-like to me.

I'm with Denise...it looks like Cotyledon orbiculata to me. When it flowers, you will know for certain. See 3 pix at the link below for examples.

Thanks for the responses, ladies. It is not a cotyledon. The flowers on it were small, star shaped and white. I'll just have to wait until it flowers again. Norma, can you help?

I guess I should've asked what the flowers looked like first!

It could be Crassula 'Blue Haze' then! See pic below.

Sorry! I may have steered you the wrong way! I think the name is Crassula 'Blue Bird', or more properly Crassula arborescens ssp. undulatifolia 'Blue Bird'. See link below.
