ID stapeliad type plant unusual flower

I think it is a Stapelia, see if the flowers stink, then it probably is Stapelia. Sorry, I can't help more. The four tip flower actually has five, one is just dwarfed (locacted at 7 o'clock),

I can assure you that it has only 4 petals, which is the reason I took a photo of it, as well as the other photo I have posted. Now looking at the other photo, it shows a 5 petalled and a 6 petalled flower (one of the petals is pointing toward the camera. There is no smell obvious with this flower and flies do not seem to be attracted, unlike Stapelia hirsuta which is alongside it.

As you may know, genetic misfits are known to occur in these plants, resulting in flowers which have petals numbering other than five.

It looks close to my Huernia thuretii ssp. thuretii. Your petals seem a bit can't say for sure, but check out link below.

I've had different count on the petals of some of my Stapelia as well!
