patrick's garden

sjv78736(austin texas)February 4, 2006

patrick_in_fb sent me these pictures of his lovely garden. With his permission I have posted them here for all to enjoy. As you can see his garden is spectacular. Patrick's garden will be in May's Horticulture magazine - WTG dude!

Wow Patrick did you do that on your own? What an awesome example of a garden where color and shape are so wonderfully used. Kudos on getting it photographer and published.

Thanks to all for your kind words, and thanks to Jo for posting them for me. I think I have figured out how to do it, but apparently, you can only attach pictures to a new post, or I'd put another couple on here.

Yes, MBT, I did the whole thing myself. It's taken about 15 years for it to look like this - most of the plants were quite small when I put them in!

Patrick,

Since you did it yourself give yourself a big pat on the back. That is some really good work.

I forgot to mention that if you live in Southern California, you can see another picture of the garden in February's Sunset magazine. Sunset publishes many regional editions, and I don't think it made into the others.

AWESOME! No words can describe how awesome!

Does Patrick need a live-in gardener?
Will work for a view? ;)
