Left to die in the greenhouse

hablu(z8 Netherlands)March 1, 2014

...or a better title is maybe: the will to live.
I left this Echeveria rubella to die in the greenhouse. It was in terrible shape and :I saw no reason to save it. This week I found it back with four new signs of life.

Are there some of you with equal stories? Please post a picture.

greets from Harry

Awesome looks like u got 3+ pups out of that one!

I had an Grapto-sedum hybrid that was molded right at the core so I thought it was most likely a gonner. I didn't want the mold to spread to other plants in the pot, so I flung it into a dry, bare corner of my yard. A while later, I found it with the molded leaves parted off, and it was growing some new roots.

Great life-saver, Harry! If I find the pix & the time, I'll show mine. LOTS of them! In the meanwhile, congrats on yours! :)
