Chamaelobivia 'Rose Quartz'

igor_fl(Florida)April 16, 2006

Purchased at Target, this is a cross between Chamaecereus and a Lobivia .... the color of the flowers is unfortunately nearly impossible to replicate - it literally glows with a red and a hint of blue/ultraviolet (especially if the sunlight hits flower petals). Besides the name and flower color, it looks like a normal peanut.

Beautiful flowers! I picked up one of those but mine has not flowered, nor is it showing any signs of doing so. Still, there is always hope.
