Here are a couple of succulents i'm not sure of the names of.Can anybody offer some insight?

the first picture is of an epiphyllum for sure..... im not too hip on the caudex plants for your second pic sorry.

ok, when the flower fades, then a fruit pod MIGHT apear, wait for it to drop off on its own and then cut it open to get seed out, if it set any, or you could eat it......

Ha!If one could choke it down it certainly wouldn't exit!Maybe that cat Andrew Zimmerman,He'll eat about anything!

cryptocereus anthonyanus and jatropha podagrica
the cryptocereus is best propagated by leaf cutting. if you sow the seeds from any resultant seed pod, they should germinate fairly easily but it would take forever to get a decent sized plant.
