Another Follow up to my aloe question below

Ok, so the picture that I posted below looks like it has too much sun? I thought they were suposed to get all sun and little water like a catcus? There's another picture posted here and one in the prior post

Plants can get sunburned (just like people) if you move them into full sun without acclimatizing them over the course of a couple of weeks. That's probably what happened.

Like most cacti and succulents you should wait until the soil is completely dry, then water thoroughly. Cacti and succulents like and need water like all plants, they just don't like to be constantly wet. As long as you use a fast draining mix and let it dry out completely between waterings you should be fine.

Colleen - if you are in need of more of these aloes, please email me. I have several I can send your way. They grow like weeds for me. Mine are browning up as well in the summer sun.
