Euphorbia Who???

bikerdoc5968 Z6 SE MIMarch 3, 2012

A friend of mine, who works in a commercial greenhouse, gave this to me today. Unfortunately, as so many of the plants in this greenhouse are not tagged, this little Euphorbia family member is nameless as of now, but I know there is someone out there who will come to Doc's aid and provide a name. There was one plant that wasn't as nice looking but had a new leave that was oval in shape and about 1 3/4" x 1" and light green.

Thanks Tom, I knew it was in the Euphorbiaceae Family but just couldn't place it exactly.

Hi Howard,
Thats exactly what it is. You're going to have lots of offsets. From my experiance, water it less than the others since the plant is thick. Its a relatively fast grower and if you knock a peice off just stick it in a pot and it will root, it doesnt have to be that deep in the soil either. I usually put a fallen peice in the nearest pot and now I haver clumps in mahy pots. The leaves are cool looking too.

Denise, that's just great! Now I'll have more "stuff" to give away.... You know I have limited space and I can't live outside if the plants take over the greenhouse and my home! What's I guy to do!!!!????
