Epiphyllum oxypetalum

Cena(S CA 10A)September 27, 2007

A new plant for me, although not new to Epi's.

I have been sitting, scarcely breathing, waiting, waiting, endlessly waiting...

To feel better for the waiting, I've run out and snapped pix after dark, just 'in case' and to feel useful in the process.

Tonight, my reward arrived in the back yard.

endless nights of looking at...

Tonight at 6pm!

At 7...

AT 10pm

(hey, takin' pix in the dark is tricky business. You take what you get, right?)

(The smell was heavenly, does that make up for the poorly shot darks?)

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Mine doesn't smell. Guess it's different species.

Wow... I'm jealous! Beautiful! Isn't the wait worth it?
