Snowtanned Jade

kaktuskrisMarch 1, 2014

Even though there are 6 foot high snow mountains outside my window, and it was below zero this morning, my Jade is still working on a tan.

You should apply sunscreen to your Jade when you take it snowboarding... everybody knows that!

Our Jades can detect those increasing solar values, despite the mountains of white just beyond the window....Lookin' good!

If you don't mind me posting a photo, here is my baby growing from a fallen leaf, also getting snow tan.
Actually, larger one on the left is tanned also - they are in front of south window. I guess the snow intensifies the sunlight a bit.

A south facing window indeed makes a difference for me, plus the fact my Jade is not the common variety, it is one known as "Ruby" or "rubra." I love it.
