From what I can see, it might be M. parkinsonii, but I may be way off too.

Roesmarie could be right... parkinsonii is a possibility, but it could also be a short spined form of hahniana, or even formosa, or even chionocephala... the pic is a bit blurred so it's not easy to make out the spine count etc. Has it flowered? if so what colour?

I don't think its M. parkinsonii, partly because it isn't exactly a common box store type plant, and partly because the central spines look too short. There's perhaps half a dozen species it might be, I just can't tell from the blurred piccie. A side shot is sometimes helpful as well it shows the mature areoles better, and the overall body shape.
