the old flowers that are fruit now is buired in deep crevis. I think I'll try to pry with tweesers. A suggestion from Jordy. Thanks Jordie, kind of like plain old common sense.sorry about he blurreyness

If this is prolifera, the mature berries should grow long and poke out beyond the spines. I like to keep them on the plant 'cos they last for the following winter, making the plant look attractive long past when it has stopped flowering.
