Based on photo, it is definitely an aloe, but I am hesitant to name it. Coming from Walmart, it could be almost anything.
Just my .02 worth.

The plant looks like a very young specimen of either Aloe ferox or Aloe marlothii (named after Dr H. W. Rudolph Marloth, a famous South African botanist). You may have to wait until it flowers to make an exact determination.
A. ferox and marlothii reach 2 to 4 or 5 metres height so I suspect that unless you can plant the thing in the ground you may never know. I have an A. marlothii about 5m tall in my front garden. That plant first flowered when it was about 1-1.5m tall.
