Please help in identification

janconoverDecember 26, 2012

Having never even seen a bromeliad until I was 58, I am pathetic at identifying them! I've been watching this beauty for two years, and it (and its buddies) have finally bloomed! Can anyone identify it! I've love to know what exactly to call it! Thank you!!
