Rain storms lined up one after another...

stanofhFebruary 4, 2014

As far as the 10 day cast..its rain, then a break and more rain after that. And nothing much above 60f for the bay area. This is new to me..a drought and warm January that got many tender plants to start growing early...now they have all the watering they need. But cool temps. A new challenge to gardeners..unless you have all temperate plants or natives.

It is about time! The only watering now left on is my bird baths. Al

My plants and I don't exactly know how to continue in this weird weather. Guess it's sink or swim and no help for it. Min

I hope it continues down south a bit. It's getting frustrating seeing rain in the forecast and then nothing happening. I'm north of San Diego and sure can use the rain. My plants are strictly rainwater fed. I have a catchment system that is strictly for the trees and garden. I'm so so tempted to use the city water but I know as soon as I do, it'll pour rain haha
