Coryphantha missouriensis

windsurfgirl(Z6 OK)December 29, 2005

One of my best "finds". I found this growing wild in my pasture. It's about 9 inches across. I've brought it home to my cactus bed and hope to find some more some day. They are hard to find in the native grasses.

Lucky, lucky you! I wish I could go out in my pasture and find such things. Come to think of it, I wish I had a pasture!

I wish I had a pasture too. The closest I've come to finding anythig interesting around me was a tomato plant growing in a crack in the alley behind my house.

Very cool WindsurfGirl. Nice picture too.

Beautiful plant,
Mine is only a single head, from seed I sowed 5 years ago. Bloomed for the first time this spring. Gorgeous!!!
