New Gulf Frit with deformities?

mschaetz(7)July 8, 2011

A gulf frit emerged this afternoon with a bent antenna he keeps stepping on and its proboscis is still split and not coming together. Is there any helping it?

Nothing you can do, every once in a while, I've only seen a couple (both monarchs I think) where the proboscis never fused together. Sorry!!
