looking for gardens to visit in Hamilton area

Our Master Gardeners group will be doing a day trip to the Hamilton area and we are looking for gardens to visit.

I am familiar with the public gardens, but I am interested in finding special private gardens, especially if they have a specialty focus eg large Hosta collection.

We are also interested in Nurseries in the area that specialize in certain types of plants.

If you know of any such gardens, or if you have one yourself and aare willing to have our group visit, please post your information.

As a Master Gardener why not contact your counterparts in the Niagara, Burlington, St. Catherines and Oakville for guidance. I'm sure they would have some information. I would also suggest contacting the Royal Botanical Gardens for directions.
